Even something as solid as our homes changes both inside and out, just as nature itself, and the textures of our memories. The foreground of this piece is condensed water, conveying melting and fluidity — in contrast to the seemingly secure, fenced vestige of a quaint house, which, itself is transitioning away from the fence amid a background of varied texture. While in the center is a key pointing away from the viewer, indicating that understanding may yet be found inside. See source components at Flickr.
Musical accompaniment: “Little By Little” by Robert Plant.
Little by little, my heart grieves
Little by little, I call your name
Little by little, my tears fall
Little by little, everything changes
